MIA
You wouldn't believe how many outfit pictures I have floating around on my laptop and PC. I take pictures, but don't have time to post. Or I don't have time to take my picture. Life has been busy to put it mildly.
So I last posted on the 14th... since then I feel that my life is remembered by what events and meetings I have had at work. So many, I didn't have to use PTO when I took off this past Friday for a wedding, I had more than enough overtime.
So much work, I can't even recall what I did the weekend of the 16th and 17th. No worries, I just whipped out my agenda book - my lifeline these days to know what I did! Oooh, Thursday night I got my hair cut and colored - pretty much same as usual (dark brown and auburn lowlights/highlights, trim).
Saturday my sister came to visit. She came over early in the morning and watched Emerson while I was able to sneak out and go to my husband's yoga class. To those of you who have friends or family who are pregnant or recently had a baby - stop buying them little dresses or footed sleepers. What they need is TIME. Watch the baby and give them a chance to go to the gym, the mall, to a class, to get a pedicure. It's the best present ever!
So anyway, first yoga class since my first trimester of pregnancy and it was delicious. I felt connected to my entire body for the first time in quite a while. Afterwards, our friend Mike came over. He was getting married the following week and decided to get a pedicure to be all cleaned up for his tropical honeymoon. My sister took Emerson to Old Navy since she had a recent pedi, and I went with my husband and Mike. First pedi since right after Emerson arrived so it was VERY much needed!
After, I went to an open house with my sister as that she is planning to buy a house this summer. The house was a dud, but it's still fun to look. That night my husband had a photo shoot, so my sister, Emerson and I hung out - watched movies and chilled. My sister spent the night, the next day we all went to brunch and the rest of the day was a whole heck of nothing.
Then this past week, which was a whirlwind at work. Long days, early mornings, hardly stopping for lunch. But it was okay because I had a four day weekend (which will be in the next post).

Glad to have you back Allie. You are looking very well!
Sorry to hear life has been SUCH a whirlwind! Glad you're carving out time for yoga, and that it's getting you grounded in your physical self. Such a good feeling.
Allie you look fantastic
Hey Allie! I missed your posts...thought about asking after you but figured that you were most likely swamped with work/baby stuff. So glad to see you back! Love the dress over jeans with the scarf - looks great!
It may have been hectic, but you still look fresh and lovely. It's fun to see you in a different look (tunic over jeans) again, even though you look gorgeous in dresses too.
Lovely to see you back here... Not sure how you manage to look so groomed and together given everything you have on your plate.
That greeny-blue scarf looks gorg on you.
